1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a TellAbility account you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements. Recruiters represent that they have the authority to post roles on behalf of their organization.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date profile, education, and employment information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in line with applicable regulations.

4. Terms for Job Seekers

  • Truthful Profiles: Your AI conversation responses are used to build your professional profile. You agree to provide honest and accurate information about your skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • AI-Generated Assessments: Our AI may generate professional summaries and skill assessments based on your conversations. These assessments are shared with recruiters when you match with a job. You can request human review of any assessment.
  • Profile Visibility: Once your profile is marked as ready, it becomes visible to recruiters through our matching system. You can pause your profile visibility at any time from your settings.
  • GitHub Integration: If you connect your GitHub account, we access your public repositories to verify technical skills. We never modify your repositories or access private repos without explicit permission.
  • Match Notifications: You may receive email notifications when you match with a job posting. You can manage notification preferences in your account settings.

5. Terms for Recruiters

  • Company Verification: Your company must be approved by TellAbility before you can post jobs. We verify company legitimacy to protect job seekers.
  • Accurate Job Postings: Job descriptions must accurately represent the role, requirements, and compensation. Misleading or fraudulent job postings will result in account suspension.
  • Candidate Data Usage: Candidate profiles you access through TellAbility may only be used for the hiring process. You may not export, scrape, or redistribute candidate data outside of TellAbility.
  • Non-Discrimination: You agree not to use TellAbility to discriminate against candidates based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Payment Terms: Recruiter subscriptions and per-contact fees are billed according to the pricing plan in effect at the time of purchase. Refund policies will be detailed in your service agreement.

6. AI Usage and Limitations

TellAbility uses artificial intelligence throughout the platform. You acknowledge that:

  • AI assessments are generated automatically and may not be perfect.
  • Match scores are recommendations, not guarantees of fit.
  • We continuously improve our AI systems but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
  • You may request human review of any AI-generated content or decision affecting you.

7. Data & Privacy

We collect and process personal information to power AI-driven recommendations and job matches. We will never sell your personal data. For full details, read our Privacy Policy.

8. Content Ownership

You own the content you upload and create. By posting information on TellAbility, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to display and process it solely for delivering platform features. This license ends when you delete your account.

9. Prohibited Conduct

  • Misrepresenting your identity, qualifications, or company affiliation.
  • Uploading malicious code, scraping platform data, or reverse-engineering our systems.
  • Creating fake accounts, profiles, or job postings.
  • Engaging in harassment, discrimination, or spam of any kind.
  • Attempting to circumvent AI assessments or manipulate match scores.
  • Using the platform to collect personal data for purposes unrelated to hiring.

10. Limitation of Liability

TellAbility provides a platform to connect job seekers with recruiters. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of user-submitted information, or the conduct of other users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TellAbility is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, India.

13. Updates to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
